From virtual to real: our events

The true driving force behind Augmented Society Italia isn’t technology, but people. We organize and manage events ranging from international to local, transforming gameplay into moments of social interaction, tourism discovery, and cultural promotion. Whether it’s a gathering of hundreds of Ingress agents or a board game night, our goal is always the same: to bring people together.

Catanzaro Comics & Games

We are the creators and main organizers of one of the most innovative events in Southern Italy.

Born from our vision of uniting pop culture and popularization, Catanzaro Comics & Games transforms the San Giovanni Monumental Complex into a creative campus.

It’s not your typical fair. We focus on a unique mix of comics, video games, and popular science, demonstrating that entertainment can be a vehicle for high culture. We manage the entire organizational process, from logistics to artistic direction.

The Ingress World

As a hub for the Italian community, we support official Niantic formats and offer unique services to the global community.

  • Ingress First Saturday (IFS):
    The perfect monthly event for beginners. It takes place on the first Saturday of the month in hundreds of cities around the world. It’s a time of cross-faction socialization (between opposing factions), where coffee and conversation matter more than scores.
  • Mission Days:
    Events dedicated to pure exploration. In collaboration with local organizations, we create itineraries (Missions) that guide players through the historical and artistic beauties of a city, rewarding tourist discovery.
    In addition to organizing events, our association manages and maintains Missionday.site, a reference digital archive that collects the
    history of all Mission Days held around the world. A service we proudly offer to the entire global community.
  • Anomalies & Special Events:
    Major competitive events on a global scale. Here, strategy and team coordination
    reach the highest levels, attracting hundreds of players from all over Europe.
    In addition to organizing events throughout Italy, we manage enl8.shop, an e-commerce platform dedicated to Anomaly Enlightened POCs around the world!

Territorial Rooting: GiochInMarina

We believe that play is a tool for everyday social inclusion. That’s why, in collaboration with the Catanzaro Marina Pro Loco, we created the GiochInMarina format.

  • What it is: Evenings open to all dedicated to Board Games and Role-Playing Games (RPGs).
  • The goal: To create a safe and free space where you can rediscover the pleasure of sitting around a table, disconnecting from screens and interacting face-to-face.
  • Where: At the Pro Loco headquarters, in via Nazario Sauro 21, in Catanzaro
  • When: Our goal is to organize at least two evenings per month. Follow our social media and those of the Pro Loco to stay updated.
